    Technology of production of alloyed sponge titanium for obtaining metal powder compositions for additive technologies

    The main limiting factor for the widespread implementation of powder and additive technologies is the cost of consumables, which is determined by the complex process of producing titanium alloy powders.

    The key feature of titanium powders for additive technologies is the presence and uniformity of distribution of alloying elements in each individual granule.

    The solution to the problem of reducing the cost and simplifying the technology for producing alloyed titanium alloy powders by the hydrogenation-dehydrogenation (HDH) method is really possible with the development and implementation of a safe and low-waste hydrogenation-dehydrogenation technology with a closed cycle of hydrogen use.

    Since alloyed sponge titanium has a uniform distribution of alloying components, the HDH process produces individual particles (granules) with a given chemical composition.
